Local teams to air it out at Texas 7-on-7 football championships June 22-24 AUSTIN (KXAN) — As Texas high school football teams prepare for the upcoming 2023 season, they'll take the pads off and sling it all over the field in the state 7-on-7 tournament June 22-24 at Veterans Park in College Station.Pool play matchups were released by tournament directors Sunday and Central Texas teams are out in full force. Division I includes 6A and 5A schools, SPC and TAPPS Division I teams, Division II has 3AD1 and 4A teams, and the remainder of private schools and Division III includes 3AD2-1A teams.Full Division I state 7-on-7 pool play scheduleFull Division II and III state 7-on-7 pool play scheduleIn the Division I tournament, Westlake, Lake Travis and Dripping Springs all qualified and get started June 23. Family searching for missing Lancaster teen boy Authorities are searching for a critically missing teenager who disappeared in Lancaster on Saturday.The missing boy, Jermaine Jonathan Martin, 14, was last seen in the 1100 block of East Avenue J6 around 2 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.Martin is described as a Black male standing 5 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds. 2 people injured in shooting near Pier 39: SFPD SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Two people were injured Sunday evening from a shooting near Pier 39, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) confirmed to KRON4. The shooting happened around 6:48 p.m. near Beach and Stockton streets.SFPD officers arrived at the scene and found two victims with gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital, and their conditions are unknown at this time.No arrests have been made, but SFPD says there were possibly two vehicles involved in the shooting.
